About Couple


Roland and Malissa met through a Christian dating app, Upward.

They talked for a week then decided to meet at Luna’s Kitchen in Campbell, CA for their first date. Roland brought Malissa flowers and the waiter brought them champagne to celebrate their date. From that night forward they were inseparable and talked to each other everyday. Roland began driving on the weekends to Malissa.

The first time he visited Malissa he was a little nervous because of the remote surroundings. 

Fast forward and now he used to country living and all of God’s little creatures.


Malissa and Roland’s love continues to grow with every passing day. They love big and anyone who spends time with them can feel it. Most important of all, they love God first!

    • Roland (Groom) and Micah (Groom's Son/Best Man) walks Rosie (Groom's Mother) down the aisle for her to be seated at the front right next to her partner, and then takes their place at the ceremony altar with Officiant

    • 1 - Wesley (Ring bearer) walks Melody (Dog/Ring Bearer) down the aisle

      • Micah (Best Man) will take the rings off of the dog’s flower backpack. 

    • 2 - Kaylee (Matron of Honor) and Crissy (Matron of Honor) walk down the aisle together

    • 3 - Nora (Flower Girl) and Stella (Flower Girl) walk down the aisle together

    • 4 - Malissa (Bride) with Matthew (Bride's Son/Groomsman) walk down the aisle

      • The officiant will ask each of the Bride's children if they give her to the Groom to be wed.
