  • If the groom's sister (Esmeralda or "Esme") is not in wedding attire, do not photograph.


  • If anyone (other than the bride) is in white, do not photograph.


  • You can call the groom "Mikey" instead of Michael.


  • Call the on-site contact(s) upon first arrival, stating that you're the photographer from Pluvia Studios. Make sure you are guided to the first shooting location on time to set up and start taking photos.


  • Capture every single grouping listed for photos (check schedule). Repeat each grouping for each location (capture spot). Do not miss any. Work with the bride to ensure.


  • Alongside traditional poses, incorporate fun prompts or activities during the shoot to draw out genuine emotions and unexpected moments for varied, unique, and entertaining shots.


  • Focus on horizontal shots, especially for couple's portraits. Mix in some vertical shots, but prioritize shooting in landscape for more cropping flexibility during editing.


  • Watch your ISO levels

    • Don't shoot too dark (especially indoors)

    • Don't shoot too bright (especially outdoors)

  • Clean surfaces of objects before shooting (ex. dust, smudges, dirt)

    • Make sure your lenses are also clean at all times.


  • Watch out for your shadows and reflections (ex. mirrors) in the shots

  • Prioritize high quality work but also have fun! Enjoy and contribute positive energy to the couple, guests and staff!

  • "Paige had texted me about them and wasn't sure where she wanted to go but needed to be within walking distance since most people didn't drive, so I sent her a map with a few places and she chose to go with them! We met at In-N-Out, walked over to the Flamingo, and took couples photos at Caesar's Palace and inside the Conservatory at the Bellagio. I showed them the back of cam and they were really excited!"

Sensitive Information


  • There is a lot of tension between bride/groom and grooms sister, Esmeralda ("Esme for short; pronounced "Em-me"). She was not invited to wedding but not sure if she’s going to show up. If she is not in wedding attire, do not photograph.


  • If anyone else is in white, do not photograph.


  • The couple is not sure if the groom's grandmother will be attending. Probably won't know until the day of. She's big into Mexican culture and stating her opinion.

Original Inquiry Message


(Aug 21) "I want to do a photoshoot day of either before or after or both. I want to do a first look in a location where it’s pretty of me and our little daughter. I also want to get some pictures of us on the strip, old strip, and possibly someplace else. I’m not entirely sure yet. We want to stay around 500-600$.


(Sept 3) I want some photos done before the ceremony of me and my daughter’s dress and of the rings and bouquet and the car taking us there. The package I got for the wedding includes 16 photos but I wanted you there as well to get better pictures. And pictures of the venue while people are walking in and some specifics then some on the strip after. I’m not too sure after plans, I’m kind of going off of whatever happens.


(Sept 10) We just found out that we have to pay an extra $500 for you to take photos on the property. Can we do 1.5 hours at 450 after the ceremony?" - Paige
