About Couple

"Our story began in the summer of 2022, when fate (and a shared love of athleisure) brought us together in Nashville upon accepting seasonal job opportunities at Lululemon. Little did we know that this would be the beginning of something special. From the first day we met, we connected on so many levels – from our love for fitness and adventure to our shared sense of humor.

After that summer, life took us different directions and we spent the next two years navigating a long-distance relationship. Zach continued to pursue his degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, while I attended Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. Long weekends, late-night phone calls, Facetime, and countless road trips kept us connected and we grew even closer despite the miles between us.

Today, we’re living together in Hoboken, New Jersey, and loving the adventure of building a life together. Zach works remotely as a Senior Sales Development Representative for Doxel, an AI construction technology company, and I commute into Manhattan where I work for Suvon Surgical as a Medical Device Sales Specialist representing Arthrex. It’s a busy, but exciting life and we’re grateful for every moment we get to share near the city that never sleeps!

Zach grew up in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, a town outside of Nashville, and his roots there run deep. I’m originally from Arlington Heights, Illinois, but found myself in the Nashville area when my family moved south in 2022. Since then, I’ve enjoyed access to incredible music events, driving along winding country roads, and soaking up an abundance of southern charm. It’s been a wonderful transition and even though we come from different backgrounds, we’ve found that we balance each other perfectly."

    • Utilize movement such as arc shots, push-in/push-out, tracking, etc

  • Plan commute accordingly (travel times/duration, traffic density, weather conditions, etc).

    • Confirm you have the accurate location. If using GPS, type in the name of the venue with the city and verify it's the right place, avoiding the possibility of incorrect directions or destination.

    • Don't shoot too bright (especially outdoors)

After-shoot Review

  • The photographer started with the bride and bridesmaids before I

arrived. I was able to get a couple of shots but missed most of the

opportunity. I was on site on time at 2:00, a bit early actually but I

wasn't aware they were starting without me.

  • The grand exit happened after I left and it was almost 2 hours away from

the stop time. I did get their dip kiss in the doorway with the Cordell

sign visible as requested. The special bottle was filmed in the cake

    cutting shots.

  • The couple was great to work with. Super easy going and no issues with

    anyone.

  • The photographers and wedding planners were easy to work with as well.

  • The DJ was not Oliver. I was able to capture the audio during the

ceremony with no issues. The DJ unfortunately did not send the signal to

my audio recorder during the speeches. It was checked and verified

working prior to and I was able to her the feed but during the actual

speeches, it was not sent through. You will have 2 on camera audio

sources but not from the recorder.

  • Thank you for the opportunity to work for you! If you are happy with

what I was able to capture I would love to be considered for any future

    projects for you.

  • I think DJ's his name was Damian. I checked the feed when plugging it in and it was good but the entire track was empty when I looked at it afterwards. The more I think about it, I'm really not sure if it was a him not sending it through or the connection ended up being just bad. We checked the feed together before each section and I turned it on and off each time between events. He was super nice and helpful. It just didn't capture. The ceremony was perfect though. I believe he was newer and going to school for audio engineering. We didn't talk about the actual recording afterwards. I unplugged it and said goodbye.
